Landfill Environmental Assessment

We are very experienced in undertaking both qualitative and quantitative landfill gas risk assessments and in providing advice to EPA appointed site auditors, particularly where development has occurred or is proposed in the vicinity of a current or former landfill.
We have significant experience in the design, installation and monitoring of landfill gas monitoring wells (including the use of the latest GasClam technology), conceptual site model development, qualitative risk assessment and quantitative gas migration modelling. We have developed a unique lateral gas migration one dimensional model for assisting assessment of gas migration risk.
We have designed and developed appropriate gas management and/or mitigation measures for development sites (including virtual curtain, venting systems, cut off walls, passive building protection measures).
Our people have successfully completed projects such as:
